Good Morning Girls

I am leading a Bible study group on Facebook that follows along with the Good Morning Girls  blog.  This will be my first time participating in the group as a whole and of course my first time leading.  I just recently found the blog and immediately fell in love with the idea.  We are studing the book of Ephesians.  It is a 12 week study that starts tomorrow morning.  The basic idea is to study the assigned readings for each day, Monday through Friday, preferably in the morning if possible. And then take the time to write down notes of passages you found helpful, why you found them helpful, how you can apply them to things in your life and then try to do it.  The idea behind "Good Morning Girls"  is kind of a motivation to keep you going.  Just like dieting and excercising it is better to work in pairs or groups.  So in some way we communicate each morning, again Monday through Friday, whether it be by email or through Facebook.

I am inviting anyone to join our group.  I have decided to make it a "secret group" in Facebook terms.  This means that only people  in the group will be able to see the member list and the posts.  This way everyone can discuss what is on their mind in a private setting where they don't have to be concerned with what the whole world will think.   I want everyone, myself included, to be able to post exactly what is on their mind, good or bad, and have positive uplifting feedback.

If you are interested in joining the group send me an email and I will send further instructions.  If it is after the start date, don't worry, it's not something you are graded on or anything, just a group of ladies talking.  Or hens cackling as the men folk round here would say!   If you would like more info on the creaters of the study you can visit the Good Morning Girls website.  Here is the list and dates for the study:

Even if you don't join a group you can follow along on your own or through their FB page.  They will post blog updates on Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays.
