Homeschool is a new thing for us this year, but we are having a great time doing it! My 4 year old son is going through the Letter of the Week Curriculum. We started the first week in January and will end sometime the middle to end of June. We are getting a late start obviously. I tried to put some diffrent things together for him from several different books, but I found between 2 kids, work, blogging, couponing, and whatever else comes up, I need to find something that had everything planned out for me already. Now I spend about an hour printing out the pages for the week, laminating the ones I will save for my daughter and putting boxes together for the first day. It is MUCH easier. And he is really doing well. He is doing much better with a more traditional, regimented (so to speak) routine. His "school day" only lasts about 45 minutes, but he is really retaining the information and I really am happy with things for now.
I am on a hunt for what curriculum we will use next year. Finding a complete curriculum that will
work for my son is really hard. Always open to suggestions.
